I know how this is going to sound, and the response should be shurrup and wait a week and you will know but after 7 years of ttc I’m gonna go for THAT post-please I need the sanity check!

I’m so nauseous, have a hormonal headache(back of my head the same as I have just before starting my period) my back hurts, I’m light headed and dizzy And last night had a random fever. I’m 7dpo.

how early were your earlierst symptoms? And what were they?

really praying for my 🌈 when I’ve been positive befor my first symptom was sore boobs and 2nd time was nausea. This was closer to my period date however not a week before!

Hi OP. I know what you mean people saying ‘just wait a week’ if only it were that easy! My first symptoms were dizziness upon standing, I felt very emotional and was in tears over the smallest thing (I never cry normally, not at all a weepy person). Fingers crossed for you!

Cas112 · 28/06/2022 16:28

Sore boobs at about 9DPO

justasking111 · 28/06/2022 16:33

Taste buds alcohol tasting of salt. NO idea I was pregnant not planned.

Tisfortired · 28/06/2022 16:38

Crazy dreams! Also a sore lower back and sore boobs.

OhThatChicken · 28/06/2022 16:40

A metallic taste in my mouth. Not sure exactly when but relatively early. Pre-me thinking I should test certainly.

Yrmyfavourite · 28/06/2022 16:44

Can't remember with DC1 but this time around my symptoms were super early. From about 7dpo I was falling asleep every afternoon, bloated, nausea, headaches and sore boobs. Also (tmi) very hard and sore nipples!

LethargicButAwesome · 28/06/2022 16:54

Thanks ladies, I needed this! So I’m not crazy. I know it could be anything but to feel everything at once is not something I’ve experienced before. So hopeful…got ages to test…only thing that’s making me think no is no real sore boobs but everything else is there!!

@Wouldloveanother it’s the longest 2 weeks and yet time goes by in a blink in equal measures!

@Yrmyfavourite sounds like me! When did you get your bfp ?

OP posts:
Yrmyfavourite · 28/06/2022 17:13

@LethargicButAwesome BFP at 8dpo! Now 21dpo and exhausted 😴

GlitteryGreen · 28/06/2022 17:19

I never had any of the usual symptoms, but I did have breathlessness and chest pain which apparently can be caused by the rapid increase in progesterone. This was before I had tested, and I think I tested first at 9dpo (purely because it was NYE and I thought I'd better check before drinking) and had the very faintest line.

I thought I was having an adverse reaction to my covid booster!

Yodaisawally · 28/06/2022 17:37

Needing to wee, all the time.

RestrictedSection · 28/06/2022 17:46

I started having dizzy spells from about 7dpo. At one point I went to the loo at work and nearly fell over in the cubicle because the walls were spinning so much.

I was really glad I tested positive, otherwise I was worried something was seriously wrong with me!

LethargicButAwesome · 28/06/2022 17:52

That’s early for a bfp! @Yrmyfavourite @GlitteryGreen Making me think might not need to wait until 14 days…

thanks @RestrictedSection and @Yodaisawally so I’m not crazy to think this might be it. Desperate for a BFP and I’m not a crazy symptom spotter usually…. This month is out of whack. Very hopeful but equally afraid of disappointment

Oh another bizarre one - the toothpaste suddenly tasted of milk (I CANNOT explain that!)

AG96 · 28/06/2022 18:14

Worlds most painful nipples. So sensitive and felt like they were firing lasers. Still get that now at 17 weeks lol. I had no idea I was pregnant and was scared something was wrong

Stupidpeoplesuck · 28/06/2022 19:14

At around 10 days PO I was utterly exhausted to the point I needed to have naps during the day. Fingers crossed for the outcome you want!

PinkBump2022 · 28/06/2022 19:21

My earliest symptoms are that I dream of taking a test and it being positive. If I’m Lucky I dream of the baby and if it’s a girl or boy, each time it’s been correct, with this pregnancy I dreamt of a baby girl at 2dpo and she’s indeed a girl! I usually get some mild pains on 6-7 dpo as implantation takes place, I cramps daily after that as things grow and I get a positive 7-9dpo. Has always been the same when trying for each of my children however I’m very intune with my body. Things then start to taste different and just not right. Then I miss my period then my boobs get achy, cramping daily continues, morning sickness starts at about 1 week after my missed period.

ToCaden · 28/06/2022 20:17

For a few days after implantation a weird poking twinging feeling on left side where he did implant.

Actual pregnant symptoms started from around a week before period would be due up to and past that which were feeling like my period was coming any minute. Period type cramping, etc. This grew up to would be period time and after a odd sensation that felt more like things were rearranging themselves than period type cramping. Plus bloat and general digestive discomfort.

Probably some more things too. I was suprised it felt like so much was happening so early. I did however have IVF so being pumped full of hormones there's the chance some of symptoms were due to that instead.

Yrmyfavourite · 28/06/2022 20:38

@PinkBump2022 I had that dream too actually! A day or two before my BFP. How strange!

LethargicButAwesome · 28/06/2022 22:48

Crazy to hear so many stories so early on. I always thought it’s just way tooo early to know anything for certain, so I tend to ignore it and think the worse. Still feeling all my symptoms but also have a fever so thinking it could be that…@PinkBump2022 that is very random! My mum always dreamt before any one of my sisters got pregnant. She would hound us the whole month asking which one is it 👀 and it always ended up being true!

Sneezing loads has been mine every time, from around 10dpo

Twoshoesnewshoes · 28/06/2022 22:52

Within the first week, so hungry I inhaled the entire contents of the fridge, followed by nausea and sensitivity to smell- I had my DD 25 years ago and still can’t bear the smell of coffee

LethargicButAwesome · 29/06/2022 08:54

@Twoshoesnewshoes funny how that happens remember with Ds1 I had French toast with beans and it came back up…. Took me years before I would try it again!

Both times for me the first symptom was sore boobs and it started a good few days before my period was due. First time that was only only symptom, second time I had mild nausea and food aversion from sort of 6 to 10 weeks.

hellobeautifulsoul · 29/06/2022 09:28

My first symptoms were sore nipples, nothing extreme but if I pinched them gently I could tell they were tender. Probably sounds weird but veiny boobs, the veins in my boobs seemed to be quite prominent, and they changed shape/colour of my nipple. Other than that not much else 😂 maybe a sort of stitch feeling in my belly if I get up too fast etc I've had that with all 3 of my pregnancies 🥰
