How long did it take to TTC your 2nd?

We fell pregnant with our DD in just 2 months, so relatively quickly. However, I am not sure if it is just an old wives tale, but I have heard it takes longer to fall pregnant with your 2nd usually? Is that right? How long did it take you to fall pregnant with your second once you started trying again after your first?

Our DD is 5 months old and I came off the pill 2 weeks ago (not to TTC just yet, but because it was giving me awful side effects), so we are just being careful at the moment, and we would like to start trying when she turns 6 months old, as we want two quite close together.

Took 4 months with my first and 1 month of TTC with my second so was very quick both times. We have a 5 year age gap

We conceived straight away with second we started trying when my first was about 10 months old. I heard that if you try within a year of the birth of the first child you conceive more easily. Third child was concieved after two years of the second child and took about 3 - 4 months

We tried for around 5 years for a second baby but it never happened, bizarrely I fell pregnant within 2 months with my first baby but when it came to trying for a second 3 years later my husband at the time had developed problems with his sperm count so it never happened for us.

I am now 29 weeks with my current partner, we weren't actively trying so I don't know how long it would have taken us.

I fell pregnant on the first month with DD1 and then 15 months later fell pregnant on the second month with DD2 (currently 26 weeks pregnant with her) :)

2nd cycle of actively trying but ended in MC at 9w. Had 1 cycle off then successful BFP straight away again but ended in MC (again) at 6w.
I also want (wanted) a small age gap but it's just not happening, I think my hope/expectations of having a small age gap is not helping my emotional recovery either, sadly.
