Hi

I have had back pain for two days now, loss of symptoms, exhaustion, mild cramping and today have been spotting. I remember having same symptoms with my miscarriage 6 years ago... Has anyone had something similar? What was your outcome? Thanks

In both my daughters and this current pregnancy I had a full on heavy red bleed at 7 weeks. This time a doctor gave me an internal and diagnosed me with a cervical polyp. About 3 weeks ago I was taken to hospital in an ambulance at 2am losing a massive amount of blood and several blood clots the size of the palm of my hand. I've been bleeding lightly ever since and doctors now think its coming from my womb. Every single time baby has been checked and is absolutely fine! I'm now anaemic and on meds but baby is having a ball in there.

The point of all that is to try and calm you. Bleeding in pregnancy isn't always bad news. Even bleeding as bad as mine. The midwives told me if bleeding gets so bad it soaks a pad in less than an hour or is accompanied with pain to call them asap. Its more common than you prob think. Some women just bleed during pregnancy.

Keep and eye on it, try to relax and it it gets as bad as the midwifes advice give EPU a call Smile

Thank you so much for replying, bleeding has now stopped but still experiencing cramps in back. I was anemic earlier this year maybe its that? Trying to get refferal to EPU seems difficult. Called GP who wants to check my BP and heart rate first then will do referral to EPU referral.

Its reassuring to hear your story tho, thank you for sharing and honesty x
