Where's the best place to shop for baby items? With my first I loved having a wander around mothercare and the baby section at toysrus but they've gone now! Everything seems to be online Hmm

Smyths Toy Store's have a baby section (bit like Babies R Us). Boots baby section was rebranded as 'Mothercare' selling some of their goods.
Ikea for furniture.
It's pretty much that plus a John Lewis if you live near one or if lucky an independent shop. But they are rare.

We struggled with this massively!!
John Lewis is the main one in London.

but if you are outside of London we found that there were more option. We ended up buying our bits from a ship in Lancaster while we visited the Lake District as we loved the service. They delivered to us in London.

Smyths or John Lewis. There's a big mamas and papas outlet somewhere near Leeds I think and then 'kiddie kingdom' in dewsbury. I bought my pram from an independent store - they were amazing and also offered an option where you can pay 20% deposit and then pay off in bits and bobs until the day you collect which is a good option. They also held my pram until I was ready to collect it so I didn't have to worry about it being delivered too early and storing it

Google to see if there's an independent store near you. There's one near me that is run a lady who is so kind and helpful.
