Pregnancy nausea or something else?

Hi all - I am 6+1 by my LMP. This is my third pregnancy - first was successful and my second ended in a miscarriage a couple of months ago at 5+5. During my first pregnancy I got quite bad nausea and food aversions, but was never sick. This pregnancy I’ve so far had the odd spell of nausea but nothing too bad (not surprising as it’s still early on). However, today I have been feeling gradually worse all day until I was just physically sick. I’ve now got a constantly queasy feeling, dizzy and chills. I wasn’t expecting this at all as don’t ever remember feeling this bad first time around. My son did have a vomiting spell at nursery on Friday but this seems to have been due to a head bump rather than a virus (he’s been fine ever since). Is it possible for nausea to start relatively suddenly? Worried it’s actually a bug or, even worse, food poisoning.

Update - def a tummy bug 🤢. Does anyone have experience of being ill this early on and all being okay. Struggling to keep fluids down and panicking because of the miscarriage two months ago.

I hope you're okay. Didn't want to read and run but yeah I was sick and kids were sick I didn't know if it was a tummy bug or hypermesis. Please remember that these days will pass when you're feeling rough because they will. I wish someone was there to tell me that. God bless and hope you have an easy pregnancy and lovely healthy baby xx
