On your other post you say you might only be 3 weeks pregnant, so I'm not entirely sure why you're already going for scans, but here's some info about gestational and yolk sacs:

Sacs

Honestly unless there's some other reason that you haven't mentioned, scans at this stage are quite pointless. They can't change any outcome. And you're still very young (18?) so I'm a tad flummoxed.

Iesha, in the kindest possible way, you need to stop worrying and find something else to occupy yourself for the next few weeks. If you must, book a scan for 8 weeks, when you will definitely see a heartbeat.

yes ofc i agree with you, it's my first pregnancy and i was never taught anything, so i pretty much don't know anything, i have memory loss so i couldn't remember the day of my last period and that's why i had a scan but i'm estimated at the moment 4 weeks and 1 day. but thankyou for the reassurance and just being straightforward with me. :)

For all of us experiencing our first pregnancies, everything is new and I would say most of us are unsure about so many things!

All you can do is go to your scheduled appointments and take care of yourself. Make sure you're taking prenatal vitamins, at the very least you should be taking folic acid right now!

i had been taking my prenatal the whole time which was good but unfortunately egg hasn’t developed and it’s been classified as a miscarriage :(
