so i might even be as early as 2-3 weeks but at my scan there is currently no yolk inside my sac i'm kind of worried that the pregnancy won't move forward, i've grown attached to this baby already as it's my first, does anyone have any reassuring advice as i really want this pregnancy to work and i'm too worried to ask my current midwife incase of bad news. i want to know if this pregnancy is going to move forward. this is my scan last week and it's not changed much other than got a bit bigger. any advice for a young mum?

Hi darling, firstly do not worry. That is so very very early to see anything ❤️ try and relax as much as you can (I know its not easy) while some time passes before they can scan again. The earliest scan I have had is 6 weeks (internal) and there really wasn't much to see, that baby is now 9 years old! Sending you good vibes and good luck for a happy healthy pregnancy xx

friday i was told that the egg hasn’t properly developed… i’m now for in the next 3 weeks to see if i’ll naturally have the miscarriage. i’m struggling bad with this loss as in my head i’d planned out the rest of my life with my child and now it feels like it’s been stripped from me, any advice on something like this? it’s making me quite suicidal and i constantly have cramps now :( i feel so lost 🥺

Didn't want to read and run, I'm so sorry this is happening. Completely understand you'd already started thinking ahead to their life, I only have to see a positive test to start thinking about what they'd be like.
You can get through this, please reach out to a friend or family member and tell them how you feel so they can support yuo xx

Hello OP, we are really sorry to hear you are feeling this way.
We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources. You can also go to the Samaritans website
or email them on [email protected]. Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek real-life help and support as well.

We also like to remind everyone that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.

Some further support links:

MIND: Coping with mental health problems during coronavirus

We are wishing you all the best OP. xx
