Bra recommendations for F+ cups

Hi everyone,

I have recently found out that I'm pregnant (first time!). Early days - just 5 weeks. I was wondering if any larger-chested women have any recommendations for bras? For reference, I am size 14/16 (5'3ish) and a 36F (although maybe bigger already). It's only 5 weeks and they already feel very heavy. Has anyone found a holy grail comfortable bra in the UK? I am open to any type underwire or non-wired or sports bras if supportive.

Thanks!

I'm a 34G, so similar to you. I find that Fantasie bras fit well. That said, if you don't mind a bit of an old fashioned bra then Triumph Doreen is fantastically comfortable. It gives a bit of a retro shape which isn't to everyone's taste but does have very good support with wide shoulder straps and 3 hooks at the back. If it's comfort over style then the Triumph is hard to beat in my opinion.

Congratulations by the way!

I’m 34H. In my last pregnancy I just wore my preferred underwire all the way through until the end, I got a band expander and then later a new bra when my cup size increased. In terms of nursing, Hot Milk bras were the only ones I liked. I think they may do maternity too?

Hot milk and bravissimo do some good May bras for bigger boobs.
im 23 weeks and gone up another cup size so just be weary of buying too many as they may need replacing again

I'm 32G. I found in my first pregnancy I just kept going up sizes so after forking out a fortune in Bravissimo only to outgrow within a couple of weeks I bought some soft, stretchy nursing bras from M&S: https://www.marksandspencer.com/santoni-non-wired-plunge-nursing-bra/p/clp60376230

I later (post-20 weeks) bought two lace soft cup bras in a bigger band size from panache, mine weren't drop cup but were this style, and have been what I've mostly worn in this second pregnancy. So much nicer wearing something that feels a bit sexy: www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/panache-sophie-nursing-bra-e9229.html

In my second pregnancy I've had really minimal changes in size, the main change has been going up from a 34 band to a 36 to accommodate the bump. Hoping that goes back down once baby is out as currently none of my nursing bras will do up and I hadn't planned to buy any more 😅

36H here and I found my holy grail in M&S! The do twin packs for quite reasonable prices (<£30 for twin pack) and they're supportive and comfortable.

When I was gigantically pregnant and in the last months a j cup, Doreen was my salvation. The ugliest bra on earth, but so comfortable.

Hotmilk all the way.
