So I'm 37.3 and I have been feeling so unwell this last week it's like I'm back in my first trimester I've got such bad nausea, really tired, aches and pains. But I'm not in labour (went and got checked). I feel really upset like I've just had enough I really just want to give birth my DD came at 37.3 exactly and I haven't had one contraction someone please give me some hope or positivity :-(

I did feel really sick before labour, but it was hours not days before.

@fighoney thanks fighoney was it like nausea and sickness or something else? Did your contractions start a few hours after? I just don't know why my body is doing this to me it's been hard enough!

Yes!! Also it carried on until I was having contractions. Every time I had one u nearly threw up!
Congratulations and I hope the birth goes well for you and baby xx

Yeah, I started feeling sick in the afternoon and my baby was born at 00.10 the following day.
Best advice is to avoid spicy food, I ate a packet of chicken flavour crisps with my lunch that day and those crisps repeated on me until I gave birth.

Thanks @fromhereuntilforever how long after feeling sick did you get contractions? I felt really sick last Sunday then was okay ish during the week then since Friday I have felt constant nausea but NOTHING. It's driving me mad. How long can this go on for?!

Thanks @Summerlovin20 so basically within the day you had given birth. Mine has been going on all weekend and I just feel so deflated :-( I haven't felt this sick since first trimester and actually I don't even think I felt this sick back then!!!!

Honestly I felt sick for about 6 weeks at the end, I think it's the lack of room and your stomach getting squashed :( my girls came at 41 weeks which isn't what you want to hear but good to be prepared!

I had this in the few days before I gave birth.

got a taxi home from work because I was so exhausted and had to get the driver to stop so I could puke. Was a few years ago now, but defo was queasy for a few days before…maybe it’s the change in hormones??

I also ended up being sick in early stages of labour- apparently it’s common as your body is getting no ready to focus on giving birth ( similar to fight or flight tendency)

id say it’s a sign that you need to get ready for labour starting soon!

I did the week before but it was preeclampsia. Keep an eye on swelling and under rib pain just in case.

I felt poorly the day i went into labour but we're talking hours before, went to bed for a nap, woke up and my waters broke. Didn't feel sick but just like not right
