I've just been discharged from the hospital after my waters breaking at 33 weeks.
I have a 15 month at home and all these upcoming appointments to check on baby.

If this has happened to anyone, how did you do it? I'm too scared to even pick my little boy up just incase I go into labour.
Did you take it easy? Bed rest?
Thank you

Hi I had pprom from 28 weeks but my waters were leaking a little bit everyday, my whole waters didn't go. Is that the same for you? I had a 2 nights hospital stay and then I just carried on as normal, I don't think picking up your son will do anything. I also had to give birth at 35 weeks due to it. I know it's super hard but just try to relax, bed rest wasn't needed for me

My waters went at 34 weeks, I was discharged with monitoring but had meconium in the waters the next day so was induced. I would stay resting as much as possible, just before my waters went I had been painting (nesting!) and I really think I overdid it and that contributed to my waters going.

@dogmum00
I wasn't sure if it was all my waters or not but I'm not leaking any.
On my scan report it says the liquid volume is still in the normal range so I'm assuming that means not all of them went.
I'm really hoping I make a few more weeks 🤞🏼
