Spotting during pregnancy

Hi all I'm currently 7+2
I had some spotting last week that lasted for 2 days and then went away, it came back again and I've been spotting for 5 days now, every one I've spoken to says it's normal and not to worry as I have little to no cramping and it's brown blood so "old blood" I haven't got my own midwife yet and I haven't been seen once. Has anyone else had this experience? I've booked a private scan for next Thursday but I'm just thinking the worst now xx

I had this at 7 weeks and the GP referred me for a same day scan at EPU; could you try that? Baby was all fine and rest of the pregnancy was smooth, I was told to rest while the bleeding was happening

Hope everything works out for you, but 4 times brown blood was not good news for me it was the start of my 4 miscarriages, not wanting to scare you but I wish some one had of been true with me. I had no cramping either time only cramping I had was when I was passing the pregnancy.

Thanks for replying. I've been trying to get a hold of my GP for the last week. The only time they've actually answered I've been told by the receptionist it's normal and not to worry. I can't go to my EPU because it's referrals only. Xx

@Michelle99923

Maybe phone out of hours doctor they are sometimes more helpful snd can refer you for a scan, or go to a+e and they can refer you. Alot of people bleed in early pregnancy and everything bes OK hoping that's your outcome.

And for the reception to tell you that is not right either, bleeding is not normal but not uncommon either.
