Mucus plug? (TMI photo)

I'm 36+4 does this look like part of a mucus plug? If so do I need to get checked for this??? Sorry for the TMI pic

I've just had the exact same thing happen at 38+5 and I am wondering the same.

Did you end up going into labour or finding out whether this was the plug?

It could be the beginnings of it but when it comes out you will know.

Mine was huge and black/red. Almost like a very large clot type thing

Still not gone into labour no I'm 37 weeks but I feel like baby has definitely dropped so maybe soon!
