Hi,

So I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant with our second, experiencing the usual anxiety that befalls everyone it seems because we all just want everything to be okay! Had an early scan and a heartbeat was seen but that hasn’t stopped me!
Anyway, in my last labour with DS, he was ready to come out long before they realised, they kept telling me to stop pushing when I wasn’t, my body was just doing it! This led to them being a bit worried about him and threatened me with an episiotomy 🤢 so he was born rather quickly shall we say! 20 mins or so pushing stage ha, but thankfully his Apgar scores were great, he’d just been impatient.
Due to the quick entrance, I had a second degree tear which the stitching/recovery of was hands down worse than labour! It’s now got me thinking and panicked that because it’s happened once, it might happen again or even worse! Does anyone have any experiences with subsequent labours where it did or didn’t? The things we worry about….

Hi OP,

I had a quicker labour with my second but I had a tear this time whereas they cut me slightly with my first (sorry I don't know the words).
This was due to baby coming quickly and they weren't listening to me at all so I was still actually dressed!!! 😳

Hopefully this labour will be easier for you 🤞🏼
