Hey mamas and future mamas!
I bought a boots digital pregnancy test and it came back as “not pregnant”, but When I opened it, it had 2 clear positive lines. Is it true that these tests have already 2 lines inside? Then I took a normal strip and it came back negative. Please help me understand as I saw comments like “yes they do have two line” or “no they don’t”

Once you take a test apart they are invalid.

Wait a few days, or if like me tomorrow, and take another test. Try and get a pink dye one x

Take another strip test.

PurpleChairs · 22/06/2022 22:37

Nope. Once the test is taken apart there are always more lines and it's complete unreadable.

The only result that counts is the line/s you see on a complete intact test.

use a digital - much easier to understand

Digital tests don't operate like normal yes s so the lines don't mean what you think they do. Wait a few days and test again.

Yes I'm afraid digital tests have two lines in but that doesn't mean you're pregnant. Hope you get the result you want soon.

Test with your first wee of the day, don't take apart the test or take a photo and then edit it. If you see 2 lines you're pregnant, if 1 line you're probably not.
