I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant and have just started maternity leave but I have zero attention span. I can’t focus on TV or reading more than 10 minutes and I can’t nap either as my brain is constantly ‘on’. I am apprehensive about what’s going to happen soon (FTM) but I’m not even thinking about that when I’m trying to watch TV/read/nap - I just have pointless crap swirling around my head. I’ve struggled with insomnia throughout pregnancy but it’s currently worse due to the same reason. I’m supposed to be trying to wind down and relax but I’m like a blue bottle fly! I’ve been spending time doing chores instead but I’m exhausted so would love to chill if only my brain would let me!
Is this normal? Anyone else with me?
