I’ve just taken an Ovex tablet (threadworm) as it’s going rounds dds class - then I read the leaflet that said not to take when pregnant or breast feeding .. now I’m panicking. Will 1 tablet be ok??

It should be fine as you are 31 weeks.

This is from the pregnancy section of the link below:

Although there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, a postmarketing survey has been done of a limited number of women who inadvertently had consumed Mebendazole during the first trimester of pregnancy. The incidence of spontaneous abortion and malformation did not exceed that in the general population.

NICE info mentions avoidance not contraindication past the first trimester, hope this reassures you. Accidental use of Ovex during pregnancy seems to happen quite frequently.

For pregnant or breastfeeding women, the recommended treatment is hygiene measures for 6 weeks. Treatment with mebendazole is contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy and the manufacturer recommends avoidance throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding.
