Travelling at 30-33 weeks pregnant

I am due to be going on holiday and I will be 30 weeks and 4 days when I fly there. Then when I come back I will be 33 weeks and 2 days.
Most insurance company's only cover you up to 32 weeks. Can anyone recommend an insurance which will cover me up to 33 weeks please?

@Em2022mum - i recently found out some airlines request a fit to fly certificate post 28 weeks. Have you any idea of the costs / protocol for getting this? Thanks

Yes, I have my fit to fly letter. I have one which is printed off from the airline and then also a doctors one. This was free from my midwife. I just need to find the correct insurance.

I was told doctors charged £80 for one of those fit to fly notes!! 🤔

How does travel insurance work when you're pregnant? One site I looked at said it wasn't treated as a pre existing medical condition so you didn't have to declare it unless there were complications. Is this right?

They usually don't cover for the end of pregnancy - they will cover pregnancy complications, but not birth so coverage ends when that becomes fairly likely.

You also need to check whether your cover would include care for a prem baby, as well as for you.

Ah, my doctors didn't charge? Maybe every doctor is different.
But yes if you've had no complications then you care covered in most insurances up to 32 weeks and 6 days. Anything over that your not covered.
I've tried a lot of insurances today, and most of them come back saying the same, some are less! But after 28 weeks you need the fit to fly letter from the doctors and the airline will have there own letter too. So I have 2 fit to fly letters.
