When did your nausea start?

Hi ladies

At what point did your nausea start?

Surely the day AF is due is too soon! I think I had a very very faint line (could also definitely be an indent) so still 100% unconfirmed.

I have some AF type cramps, pulling and sore boobs etc so I'm pretty sure it's on its way.

Is my mind and/or tummy playing tricks on me 🤔

With DS it started at 10 weeks and ended at 12 weeks.
This pregnancy it started at 6 weeks, hyperemesis kicked in at 7 weeks and it finally subsided at 14 weeks.
I had a friend who started from 4 weeks. Every pregnancy is different.

tuscanleather · 19/06/2022 16:28

7 weeks both times

Rocket1982 · 19/06/2022 16:36

Just before 6 weeks both times and I had hyperemesis. I'd be very surprised if it started at 4 weeks.

Amipreg1 · 19/06/2022 16:40

5 weeks, sickness started at nearly 6 weeks and hasn't stopped yet at 16 weeks. I've had HG in both pregnancies.

OhLookCriedNed · 19/06/2022 16:41

I was sick before my period was due with both of my children. 😀 I felt so rough the second time that it was DP that insisted I test even though my period was only just about due.

HSKAT · 19/06/2022 16:44

7 weeks ended at 10

Tr1845 · 19/06/2022 16:44

For me nausea started almost a week before period due in both recent pregnancies (currently 27 weeks). I am another hyperemesis sufferer and by six weeks was so sick I started meds then, so know the early nausea is unusual

kitty1993 · 19/06/2022 21:29

7 weeks, it didn't even creep in gradually. I went from feeling fine to nauseous all day every day until week 15 😅 you soon forget about it once it goes though

PartySuziPlease · 19/06/2022 21:35

9 weeks with dd1, 7 weeks mmc, 7 weeks with dd2, both times subsided about 14/15 weeks. Have had 3 pregnancies and the sickness got worse each time, dd2 sickness came on very suddenly and was horrific.

InTheNightWeWillWish · 19/06/2022 21:44

About 6 weeks. I had a site visit at 7 weeks and I had to come up with a more important, conflicting meeting as I’d have just thrown up all over site.

Ottercave · 19/06/2022 21:47

Never.
Have had 5 pregnancies that went full term and never had nausea or sickness with any of them.

OompaLoompaa · 19/06/2022 21:50

Almost straightaway, I had very sore breasts and nausea a few days after conceiving.

USaYwHatNow · 19/06/2022 21:51

I smugly declared at 6.5 weeks that surely I'd gotten away with it. Woke up bang on 7 weeks with morning sickness 😂 and I should know better as a midwife 😂

turquoise1988 · 19/06/2022 21:54

6 weeks. Stopped being sick at 16 weeks. Still nauseous now and expecting to be for rest of pregnancy (currently 27 weeks). Also HG sufferer.

PinkBump2022 · 19/06/2022 23:48

With my others it was during week 5 I’d feel sick then I’d be spewing my guts up by week 6! This time it was at 9dpo!!! By the time I was 4+3 I was being sick!! Honestly thought I was having triplets I had a night mare that I was but nope just 1 healthy baby girl. I hear it’s worse if it’s a girl as the hormones are higher

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 19/06/2022 23:53

Another never here

RhiRhi1996 · 19/06/2022 23:54

Week 6

LilianLenton · 20/06/2022 00:06

4 weeks. I'd only just had a positive test a couple of days before - I tested promptly too as we were trying & I'd already started with slight insomnia/ needing the loo a lot at night a lot. The nausea did go off around 13 weeks though & I was only actually sick a few times.

bravotango · 20/06/2022 09:49

4-6 weeks I had cramping, then 6-13 weeks had nausea

Seeline · 20/06/2022 09:53

5 weeks, vomitting multiple times throughout each 24 hour period by 6. Both times. Carried on until 17 weeks, when it started reducing.

LolaJ87 · 20/06/2022 09:58

I felt hungover, with nausea and sore boobs for a few days before I tested, and I tested positive at 3+6 - so very early on for me!

Pitstop1986 · 20/06/2022 10:06

I had sore boobs from before I tested (put it down to chest workout at the gym, as it just felt like doms in my pectoral muscles)

Felt fine until week 7 then nausea, fatigue, food aversions, pulling/cramping sensations etc hit.

overthinkersanonnymus · 20/06/2022 12:36

False alarm girls - AF arrived this morning. See you all in 4 weeks when I ask the same questions all over again 🤣🤣
