Early pregnancy concerns

Okay so I went to my first doctor appointment recently & they didn’t measure the baby but used a Doppler to check the sac. The sac was there and she said she saw a baby but wouldn’t be able to hear a heartbeat till later on because she said it was too early without a vaginal ultrasound. I am somewhere between 7-9 weeks. I have another appointment in a month but this past week my symptoms have subsided more & more. The anxiety of miscarriage is really taking a toll on me. This is my first and I’m analyzing everything. Does it sound like I have anything to worry about?

Symptoms can come and go.
Why didn't they do an ultrasound at this stage?

Why were you seeing a doctor?

It is still quite early, try not to stress. Symptoms can definitely come and go. Just a heads up that spotting and even bleeding is normal in early pregnancy, it doesn't automatically mean miscarriage but you should ring your early pregnancy unit if you do experience it.

In my state they only do it after the first dr appointment

i have had no bleeding. Some cramping but nothing too painful. I just called my doctor and set up an appointment when I found out I was pregnant because that’s what everyone told me to do.

Ah, @Erin1212 you're in the US?
Interesting how things are done differently in different places!

Yes! It was a huge shock to me & did not help with anxiety.
