Where does everyone else feel their babies movements at this stage ? Mine feel mainly low down. I get the odd one around my belly button but the majority are low by my knicker/pubic hair line - is this normal at this stage ?
Worrying myself that they should be higher up by now

Yes mainly lower down at that stage. Baby is still quite low and small and then as they grow the kicks will move up (that's what I experienced). I am 33 weeks now and just starting feeling some rib kicks in the last week or so. Sometimes it would feel like she's trying to escape out of my vag Blush however since 31 weeks she has been head down so I've felt all the kicks up higher xx

@wishuponastar1988 thank you. I've suffered with anxiety this pregnancy pretty bad but seemed to have turned a corner lately. But now the last few days I'm worrying about the baby's growth for some reason !! I needed someone to tell me it's completely normal where she's kicking atm

I have been the same throughout pregnancy but definitely finding things easier now. Low down movements are perfectly normal and may not necessarily be feet kicking you but might be little hands reaching out too. X

Also if you are ever worried about baby's movements then ring triage - they will give you advice or ask you to go in. I went in yesterday with reduced movements for the second time in the last couple of weeks and they were great. X

My kicks are really low down still and I’m 26 weeks. At my 25 week check the midwife did say that baby is currently breech which is probably why! Plenty of time for them to hopefully turn yet.

Do you know where your placenta is? Mine is anterior, so we'll cushioned on the front. I tend to feel them mostly lower down, as I think the placenta stops me feeling them further up. I'm 23/24 weeks (can't remember).

I’m 25 weeks and I know my baby is head down as I was scanned not long ago and all my kicks were just above my belly button but now suddenly they are low down again I’m confused and hope she’s not turned again and gets comfy that way in so worried about needing a c section

Thanks ladies. It's so hard not to worry about every little thing and amazing how your brain just switches from one worry to the next !! I keep looking at my bump and thinking I can't see any change even though everyone's telling me I look huge 🧐 I was trying to find the top of my uterus yesterday and sure I could feel it just above my belly button but at the same time I don't know what I'm feeling for and I think it'll just give me something else to worry about so not going to bother doing that again

I've been in last week with reduced movements and the next day she was back at it again active as anything !
My placenta is posterior and quite high up so it's not to do with the location.

Maybe she just likes chilling down low ? Or as people have suggested her legs are by my cervix - who knows it could be hands though! Haven't got a midwife appointment until 28 weeks which seems ages away and I do have a growth scan at 28 weeks too but again, it's the waiting

Oops I replied but it disappeared!

It's so hard not to worry but if you are worried then ring them or ring your midwife for advice but the movements sound similar to what I had. I've been in twice in the last couple of weeks for reduced movements,I was on the monitor for about 20 mins yesterday and as soon as I got hooked up baby started doing the Macarena Grin

All my movements were down very low earlier on and it was the weirdest feeling. X

Yep happened in my last pregnancy - first time baby started bouncing away and the second time they said oh yes baby is quiet and accused me of not eating enough which really annoyed me at the time !

I think I'm just working myself up to be honest. I am waiting for my first perinatal mental health appointment and thought I was doing well but seems my brain has found something else to start focusing on.
I have a pretty huge bump already and regular daily movements so not sure why I'm fixating on her growth now 🤷🏼‍♀️
