I’m 24+5weeks pregnant and went to the beach today even though it’s been cold we went in the water and I swam..when I was paddling I felt something in my underwear and waited till we were home and it was this thick stringing white discharge? I’ve never had this before? Google is scaring me so coming here for advice?

I get this type of discharge on and off throughout pregnancy. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

I'm 24 weeks and have had this on and off, think it's pretty normal, it's not worried me. I found this article online which may help reassure you..

'Normal vaginal discharge, known as leukorrhea, is thin, clear, or milky white, and mild smelling. Changes in vaginal discharge can begin as early as one to two weeks after conception, even before you’ve missed your period. As your pregnancy progresses, this discharge usually becomes more noticeable, and it’s heaviest at the end of your pregnancy.'

So as long as it doesn't smell strong or foul to you, then it's all normal!
