Hi all,

I’ve had an absolute rollercoaster this last week, and am looking for any similar stories/advice from other ladies!

Got my BFP last week at 11DPO (2 days before AF was due) only two months after our MMC at 10 weeks. We were stunned and delighted that it had happened so quickly!

Only two days later, I went to the loo and had some dark pink blood when I wiped. There was no pain accompanying it. I was absolutely devastated and assumed the worst (chemical). I put a pad on and cried on DP before accepting that chemicals are common and there’s always next month!

The thing is, the spotting stopped as quickly as it arrived. I wiped one more time that night and had a tiny amount of pink on the paper but nothing else. The next morning I was back to (TMI!) the white discharge I have experienced before in pregnancy. I was SO confused, so took a pregnancy test and it was still positive. I’ve been taking them almost daily since and they are clearly darkening. I also still have mild symptoms such as breast tenderness and tiredness.

I called my doctor the day after the spotting who referred me to EPU who will be scanning me at 7 weeks (another 2 weeks to wait!!)

I have attached my test progression below. I would be so grateful to anyone who might be able to offer advice/similar stories as feeling very much in limbo right now! Thank you! Xx

I had a heavy bleed at 4+2 and another a week later. All was good. You'll find people with good and bad outcomes, it's just a waiting game. Fingers crossed you have no more bleeding and the two weeks flies.

Your lines are looking good.
My friend had a period every month in pregnancy, I had a bleed at 5 weeks, both children are here.
You can see if your GP will go HCG as you've had a previous loss.

Are you in a position to go for a private scan? Either to give you some reassurance, or, if it isn't good news then you can prepare yourself without 2 weeks waiting.

Some private companies are better than others and have more medical knowledge, rather than the usual 'bonding/gender' scans.

I had small bleeds around this point and it turned out to be nothing to worry about and the pregnancy continued as normal. But it is incredibly worrying and upsetting. I hope it goes well for you.

Hi sweetie I know its worrying, I'm 18 weeks now and worrying constantly about something or other! I had a bleed at 5 weeks ish, EPU scanned me, it was a bit early so it was internal and at that stage a yolk & sac but all ok as far as they could tell. Then they re scanned 2 weeks later and there was a heartbeat :) May just be implantation bleeding your having or just one of those things. I'm sure it's ok. Esp seen as your pregnancy tests are getting darker. Try to relax(although I know easier said than done says me the stress head)

Thank you so much for your kind replies! I’ve booked in privately for an early scan at 6 weeks to see what’s going on :)
