Bowel and Stool changes pregnancy. Worried

i know bowel changes during pregnancy are common. However I’m just a bit worried - I’m finding that I have mucus / snotty stuff both on my poop & then when i wipe also.

It’s not a tonne of it but i’ve never noticed it before. It’s like a light brown colour. Don’t feel particularly constipated, maybe slightly & I’m drinking an ok amount i think. Currently 35+2weeks

has anybody else ever had mucus in their poop while pregnant. I think I have one external pile (had it for years) that’s never really caused me any issues other than the occasional itch or spotting bright red blood on tissue when i wipe after straining

thanks

@aimeeeleanor
That mucus is norm should be mixed in with your poo to make it softer. I get it sometimes.

It sounds normal but if you can get a GP appointment you could ask for a FIT test.
