20 week scan - small cerebellum, sonographer examining nose?

Hi all. Wondering if anyone could shed some light on this. Had my 20 week scan yesterday (am actually 19 weeks 4 days). The sonographer didn't raise any concerns, but afterwards, when looking at the fetal measurement charts the cerebellum size is only on the 9th centile (everything else is at least 30th).

I was also called back in after my initial scan, and the sonographer spent a very long time examining the baby's nose (from the front view, not the side), scrolling through the nostrils and to the back of the mouth, taking lots of images of it. She didn't say why.

I wish I'd asked what she was looking for or was concerned about. Does anyone have any ideas? Am nervous that I might get a call soon saying that something's wrong.

I don't, other than to say don't panic re 9th centile. 9 percent of babies will have that size cerebellum or less, it doesn't mean anything on its own.

Call the screening midwife at your hospital and ask. Don't worry in silence, it's their job to reassure you and they are normally really good.

Thank you @WaterBottle123 - I should know better than to run straight to Dr Google! Will give the screening midwife a ring, thank you :)
