Sickness, headaches, swelling, spots

I suffered with sickness, headaches, and seeing stars over the weekend. Visited the hospital and was checked over and said it away possibly just tension headaches or migraines. I had a midwife app yesterday who said everything was normal too, apart from appearing to be dehydrated.
I have woke up this morning and can't seem to keep much down food or drink, headaches are back around my eyebrows, black floating spot in vision and swelling in my legs and feet.
Has anybody else experienced this and it been nothing serious?

You need to seek medical attention ASAP. It could be pre-eclampsia.

@MrsMoastyToasty
They checked for that on Saturday, and my blood pressure and protein was normal yesterday. Or does that not make a difference?

Get checked again! Don't take any risks.

tobee · 15/06/2022 23:06

I agree you need to get checked again. They should be happy to see you .

tobee · 15/06/2022 23:06

It's possible they need to intervene to hydrate you for example

gille987 · 15/06/2022 23:35

Thank you I will give them a call. I always feel extra dramatic when I have recently been checked!

Update: phoned midwife and told me she isn't concerned?? Just eat little and often and phone back if I'm still being sick at dinner...

Don't be fobbed off. Go in and get it checked.

Ishacoco · 16/06/2022 16:08

Definitely get checked out, not worth the risk.

gille987 · 16/06/2022 16:15

I was seen at the hospital, everything seems normal apparently and have been given anti sickness injection and tablets

These are symptoms of pre-eclampsia. I’m surprised they have dismissed it so easily tbh. If your symptoms don’t improve I would keep going back!

Sounds like it’s also dehydration symptoms though so hopefully you’ll pick up a bit once you keep some fluids in.
