Hi everyone found out I’m 4 and a half weeks pregnant with baby number 2

honestky I can’t remember what to do next from when I had my little girl. I have rang doctors and have an appointment with the midwife in four weeks.

I vaguely remember sending urine samples in as soon as I found out I was pregnant. This time they haven’t asked for any.

also when am I likely to have bloods and things done as I honestly can’t remember and I am trying to prioritise things on my days off so work don’t know yet

I didn’t do anything other than phone my doctor’s surgery to arrange the booking appointment with my midwife which you have already done. Also daily pregnancy vitamins that include folic acid. The midwife took bloods and a urine sample at that appointment and arranged my 12 week scan for me.

@Eagtess3 congratulations! I'm 5 weeks today.

I phoned my GP this morning to find out what their protocol is and they booked me in for a check up today. Just did my blood pressure, talked through medical history etc. took all of about 10 mins. Booked in with the midwife in two weeks time.

I think every practice does things differently, I didn't see a GP before the midwife with my first.
