Pre labour symptoms

So I'm 39+2 today and last 24 hours I've been mega emotional, crying at every little thing (which is not like me) and I'm also extremely exhausted despite doing nothing all day. I've even had a two hour nap for the first time in my pregnancy this afternoon.

Yesterday I felt energised and did lots of cleaning, saw friends etc. Today is a different story completely!

As a first time mum I just wondered if right before your labour you experience any pre labour symptoms on more of an emotional, than physical level! Currently feel like a crazy person, hubby isn't sure what to do with me lol πŸ™ˆ

I cried earlier because:

  1. The queen is so cute in the Paddington sketch.
  2. I couldn't reach my vimto off the coffee table because of my bump and my hubby was outside gardening. So I laid back on the sofa and booed my eyes out. Hubby came in and was like what on earth, explained its because I couldn't reach my drink πŸ˜‚πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ™ˆ
  3. I really wanted pasta for tea but it meant driving to the supermarket so I cried at the thought of having to go shopping when my little fat feet won't fit in even my slippers anymore.
  4. Drove to Tesco, waddled around in flip flops, and they didn't have what I needed so I cried in the car.
  5. Had a two hour nap then got a bath then got out of the bath and sat on the bed crying because I felt a bit better πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ™ˆ
  6. My husband made some amazing pasta for tea and now I feel like a new woman, perhaps I was just hangry all day πŸ˜‚

I mean, this has got to be some hormonal preparation going on, right?!

Anyone else had weird symptoms on their due week, like their body / mind knows something amazing/overwhleming/challenging is hopefully about to happen 🀞
