12 weeks pregnant but felt a kick with my hand?

Just below and to the right of my belly button. I thought I felt something so pressed my hand onto my stomach. it happened again and I felt it on my hand! Is it possible I'm further on than I think or could it be gas ? I know nobody can tell me for sure, but it's a Sunday and I have no-one else ask lol.

It will have been wind, sorry.

I felt a kick from the outside with my second baby. DH felt one too. Definitely was baby.

Haven’t had it happen with this baby yet(15+3 weeks), but I’m not as slim as I was in that pregnancy. Wondering if that plays a part in it?

Have you had a scan yet to see if your dates are right?

It’s probably wind if this is your first pregnancy. I did start feeling pops at around 14 weeks with my second!

It's my 3rd pregnancy. I don't think it's a 12 week fetus I can feel kicking, I was worrying I'm further along than I thought. Scan booked for Wednesday so all will be revealed then lol x

I felt it with my second very early. I cld feel flutters around 11wks and started getting little kicks at 12/13wks so def possible.

You are more likely to feel things earlier after first pregnancies because you know what to look out for

At 12 weeks the foetus shouldn't be near the belly button, they should be tucked safely behind the pelvis. So it would be strange to feel kicks near your belly button that early.

Absolutely certain I felt DS2 kick at 13 weeks.

If you read my posts, I said I don't think I can feel a 12 week foetus kicking. I thought I might be further along than I thought.

Well yeah, if it is the baby then you'll be further along than 12 weeks ! At least you don't have long until you find out!
