Bleeding after chemical

Hi,

First post so be gentle please!

Currently going through my 4th chemical pregnancy (confirmed with blood test). Each of my chemicals before this one, my bleeding was really heavy with fresh red blood; however, this time it’s considerably lighter and mainly old, brown blood with significantly more pain. My pregnancy did last slightly longer than each of the others though…

Just wondered if anyone else has had this type of bleeding after a chemical?

My main concern is it affecting my cycle next month as we’re keen to get straight on to trying again. I appreciate no one here is medical, but any personal experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks all,

Amy

Sorry you're going through this.

I had a chemical at Christmas, the bleeding was very light, so light I convinced myself it was implantation bleeding but when I got home 4 days later I tested again and it was negative.

The midwife said as the test was negative everything had passed and that was that. I ovulated 2 days later than usual and my period after was a lot heavier than usual. I ovulated as usual the second cycle and got pregnant again then.

Hopefully the lighter bleed won't affect you too bad either
