Hi ladies, has anyone been induced at 37 weeks? I am been induced tomorrow due to large baby, diabetes, risk of bleeding from having Lletz treatment 18 months ago and was wondering how it all went for you? I did ask for a c-section as i am petrified this time around but they said i am more at risk doing it that way! This will be my 5th baby and i was never scared with the others 🙈 the thought of been in hospital for days is making my anxiety peak too! I have been told i will be having the gel to start with 💕

Hi hun. Me. I had GD and my large baby was only 8lb
5oz. I had the 4 pessery tablets and was in from Wednesday, then had my daughter on the Saturday afternoon. The induction process isn't pleasant, tbh i found those pains worse than the labour. The labour was fantastic. Sore mind you but great experience. I had a vaginal delivery with 2 internal stitches in the end. She came flying out 🤣 no stopping her. I went for gas and air, morphine (with anti sickness jag) and epidural. Gave birth at 12:52 PM on the Saturday and was home by 3pm on the sofa by the Sunday! You'll be amazing! My GD went away as soon as I had her and she was healthy xxx

Also worth noting I had 2 massive fibroids at my cervix, risk of bleeding too. Was fine! Didn't bleed much! They have everything on hand incase that happens. Try and relax and enjoy the process. You're a total pro!
