Hi everyone, I just wanted to know if there’s any of you here that got pregnant straight after a miscarriage before getting a period and what happened and your experience. I found out last week that I’d lost my baby at an 11 week scan and the baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. I’m desperate to get pregnant again and hopefully have a more positive outcome so just looking for any experience any of you have. Thank you

I'm so sorry for your loss Flowers

I had a very early miscarriage, fell pregnant 2 months later, and she's almost 10 now. I wish you the best of luck xxx

Yes, I miscarried in March at 5 weeks and got pregnant the following month. I am now nearly 12 weeks pregnant, I've had 2 scans so far for reassurance so it is definitely possible xx

You should ideally wait atleast one full period

TheFrustratedRedhead · 11/06/2022 01:31

I did and he’s now 10 months old! No period in between and the only reason they say to wait is so that it’s easier to date.

Hi
I am sorry for your loss. i know it is possible to get pregnant straightened away after miscarriage but I would say please give your body some time to heal. I had miscarriage at week 7 in February this year. It was emotionally and physically draining experience. I understand you want to get pregnant as soon as possible but your body needs time to heal. I had horrible few weeks after I miscarried. Hope you have healthy pregnancy soon.

I remember feeling the same as you after my miscarriage, I was desperate to be pregnant again. As it happened after I lost my baby my periods stopped for 10 weeks. With hindsight I’m actually glad of this as I didn’t realise the time I needed emotionally to heal before becoming pregnant again. Everybody’s different, just make sure you’re mentally and physically ready to become pregnant again
