4 weeks, early scan no gestational sac...advice?

Hi,
I went to the EPU today for an early scan as I've been having some cramps. We've been TTC for 3 years so I'm having a hard time believing its really.
They confirmed the pregnancy and then did a scan but said they couldn't see the sac. It may be too early and they are doing bloods to check HCG levels.
Has anyone else had this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy?

I am now 8 weeks pregnant with Heartbeat and at 4 Weeks they didn't see a yolk sac yet. Wait until you're 6 weeks 💕all the best

Not in anyway being harsh but at 4 weeks you are just at the stage of a missed period & positive pregnancy test.

There is really no point at all in a scan.

Between week 7 & 8 is better in terms of seeing a viable pregnancy.

Thank you! I was surprised they did a scan to be honest. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed it's just too early which seems reasonable. I've had no bleeding which is a positive sign

Congratulations! That's eased my mind a little, hopefully I can be saying the same soon!
