Spotting/bleeding week 9

Hello,
had an IVF pregnancy which we are over the moon about . Sunday at around 4 pm I noticed red blood that had gone through my trousers it was still light bleeding and it stopped afterwards and just turned brown. Monday we got a scan all was well.

Wednesday at 8pm I had spotting no red blood just pink brown when wiping and Thursday I had the odd dark brown bit of blood on my sanitary pad.
today Friday again just a case of me wiping and seeing some spotting.

I have another scan on Monday to confirm everything is ok.
I have no pain and haven’t had any.

I know you can’t tell me if I’ve miscarried but was just wondering if other women saw spotting or bleeding and everything was fine ?

I have been having spotting since day 1 in pregnancy (8 Weeks now) and they always claim it's normal and so does the scans say. If it's a miscarriage you will see blood clots very soon after and blood will increase not stop or slow down. I suggest getting a Doppler for sanity later on in pregnancy.

Yep, me. Spotting early in my ivf pregnancy. Biggish red bleed at 15 weeks. He’s now 4 and refusing to sleep because it’s light outside!

Also, I had 4 miscarriages before I went on to have a healthy pregnancy and gave birth to my daughter, I know you're worries and stress. One thing I regret deeply looking back is always worrying during my whole pregnancy, I wish I enjoyed it more. Fingers crossed everything is going well for you!

Hi @Ella1990 I’m 10+2 with an ivf baby. I started having brown blood when I wiped yesterday and this morning it was more pink/red but again only when I wipe. I rang the EPU and I got told I just have to rest and wait and see. The unknown is horrible. I had a scan last Friday as I suffered from OHSS and baby was fine then, good heartbeat and measured the perfect size. I just want another scan to know one way or the other. I hope everything goes ok for you

I hope you have a scan booked in :( to help put your mind at rest. Mine is today at 4 and Saturday and Sunday I had no spotting woke up this morning and now have spotting again who knows what’s happening :(

@Ella1990 how did you go on?

I’m still pregnant but they have finally worked out what the spotting is from and it’s bruising that I have it’s a haematoma. Apparently as long as I see no fresh red blood all is well but anything else is just the rest of it coming out. They said the baby must have been hiding it on my last scan. As long as it gets smaller all is well so need to check on 12 week one now x
