Please help! We have just gone through Ivf after suffering from 2 previous losses - tested the last 4 days and see the faintest line which isnt getting any darker.. I am currently 6 days post transfer so 11 days.. is there any hope? I know it’s early but also would expect it to get a little darker by day if its a viable pregnancy. Thank you

I don’t know about the lines darkening etc as they are so many types of test.

Bit of a useless response to your question to
be honest.

However I wish you all the luck in the world and I hope you get the news you are hoping for 💐

I’ve been in that position and to be blunt it’s never ended well for me.

I really hope you get good news, but I’d be prepared for it not to be, as hard as that is.

Hi! I've been through IVF and did five embryo transfers in total. Is this a fresh transfer? If so you would have used a trigger shot before egg pick up - if it was something like Ovidrel (or pregnyl), these show up as false positives on a pregnancy test as they use hCG. To have a line four days in a row, when you're only 6DPT makes me think this is what's going on. You're still in with a chance. If you are pregnant, that line should be getting darker from around now. You'll have a good sense by 9DPT. Good luck!

@KayseeG is right. Testing from 2 days past transfer is too early and could well be he trigger if you had one. I know it's hard but if you can stop testing until at least 9 days past transfer as that's when the HCG should be starting to get properly detectable.

Really hope you are right @KayseeG @Cakecakecheese .. have been freaking out all day about a chemical pregnancy which I don’t think I can deal with after 2 losses and IVF so this gives me some hope. Thank you so much x
