Swallowable tablet for morning reflux

Hi All,

I'm after some advice please - early pregnancy (still waiting on first midwife appointment) and I'm suffering from morning reflux. Sorry if tmi but every morning I'm coughing up phlegm.

I've tried taking Gaviscon liquid and chewable tablets but can't get on with either despite them helping, the liquid leaves my teeth feeling coating and I can't stand chewable tablets.

Does anyone know a swallowable tablet I can take to help?

TIA

If it's really bad talk to your GP and see if they will prescribe you omeperazole. It is a swallowable tablet and reduces the amount of acid your stomach produces to reduce the reflux and heartburn. I found it worked wonders!
