Sharp pains

I've started having really sharp pains inside my vagina. They've been pretty consistent all day and hurt like hell. I'm coming up to 35 weeks now and my baby is measuring more in the larger side. Is this normal? I can't remember anything from my first pregnancy so I have absolutely nothing to compare it too

I'm 35 weeks too and am having this, I believe it's called lightning crotch. It's so uncomfortable isn't it!

I had this towards the end of my pregnancy, it literally took my breath away - nothing to be concerned about but you have my sympathy!

Oh thank Christ for that hahaha. I throughly she was trying to claw her way out!! I'd read about lightening crotch but assumed that was just pelvic pain. Thank you all very much for the reassurance

I'm so glad to read this! I'm 35 weeks too and have been having this and panicked as it was really quite painful and a bit of a shock. Thanks for the reassurance. Isn't pregnancy so glamerous!!

I had this too with my first - can't remember when but it was weeks before my due date and she came 40+1 but I remember it well x

It's bizarre isn't it! I had absolutely no idea what was happening
