In doing a CB digital again just so that I can see 3+ weeks?

The FRER is from Monday night. The CB digital is from Tuesday mid-morning.

I have zero symptoms at the moment. Feel absolutely fine. Did anybody else feel the need to repeat test just for their own reassurance?

Is there any point...?

Yes it's natural to test all the time! But try not to - I had zero symptoms for either of my pregnancies and both successful. Congrats & try to chill - book an early scan for 6/7 weeks for early reassurance x

Zero symptoms until 7 weeks, then they only lasted until 10.
Congrats!

I kept testing for my own reassurance. I think I stopped after getting the 3+ with clear blue digital. I booked an early scan around 6weeks then again at 9week for extra reassurance.

There's no harm if it makes you feel better.

I would urge caution. I've been testing every few days this time following two missed miscarriages this year. Tonight I stupidly used a digital weeks one. I got 3+ on Monday but it only said 2-3 tonight. Logically I know it's probably more dilute urine etc but I'm now panicking.

Tests are supposed to say whether you're pregnant or not, not how pregnant you are - there's too many variables. And in my experience, they'll stay blazingly positive all trough a miscarriage anyway.

That said, I totally understand the urge! Wishing you all the luck

That FRER test has two really strong lines so you probably won't get much stronger or clearer than that! I did test until I got really strong lines like that one and then decided I just had to stop because it was a bit of an obsession.

So I understand but there are so so many threads on MN from people using those digital tests and not seeing progression in the weeks and it just causes more anxiety. They aren't the most reliable so I think if you can, just celebrate the positive tests and maybe book a reassurance scan for 7/8 weeks which isn't that far away! It's normal to have no symptoms early on so that isn't something to worry about.

Thank you all so much for taking the time out to respond - and being so understanding!

@Onebabyandamadcat sorry to hear about your missed MC. How many weeks are you currently?
I did buy an extra digital one today. If I do decide to test again, I'm going to try and hold off until Sunday morning!

I think it's the complete lack of symptoms that is making me quite nervous 🫤

Thank you. I'm 5+2 today so very much early days. I totally get the desire to test - I'm doing them every couple of days and have them all in my dresser that I go and check occasionally (like they're going to have changed 🤣). But after last night I'm resolved - no more. I did one before bed that went back to 3+ and I'm not doing another. All its doing is adding stress.

Remember symptoms are different for everyone and every pregnancy. They can take ages to kick in too. I've got nausea and sore boobs and cramping but I'm fairly certain that most of that is in my head. With my first I was around 8 weeks before I got many symptoms.

Justkeeppedaling · 09/06/2022 06:36

I had zero symptoms, except... DH knew I was pregnant all three times before I did. He said I smelled different. The middle pregnancy was a m/c but the other two progressed perfectly.

IncredibleSulk · 09/06/2022 06:37

I did this but had 2-3 for almost three weeks in a row so it caused me a lot of anxiety! (I’m now 36 weeks so the anxiety was unnecessary)

S0220 · 09/06/2022 07:39

@Onebabyandamadcat haha I have been the same! I've been checking my tests daily like they're going to any different! Minus the digital of course seeing as the display disappears after a bit! Congratulations to you!

My rational mind is telling me that every pregnancy is different and i keep trying to remind myself of that. But I remember feeling very distinctly "different" around this time when I fell preg with my first.

@Justkeeppedaling I've never heard of that before, how interesting!

@IncredibleSulk that's exactly what I am worried about! Congratulations and best of luck to you 😊
