Bleeding 22 weeks

Hi. I posted yesterday about the baby not moving as much, I went to her checked out and they said all was fine when they listened in. I have felt her this morning, still lighter movements but definite kicks. But now I'm spotting. I do have a cervical etroption that causes spotting every few weeks. I took some lactulose for the first time yesterday and I had some stomach cramps from it but it has made me go to the toilet. What are the chances the bowel movements/cramps have caused this ? Going to call the hospital anyway

That looks more like a cut on your bum after you've been to the toilet (esp if you've been constipated) I have it every other day 🙄

I'm not pregnant though so I can absolutely understand why you'd worry but as soon as I saw you r pic I thought, ah, cut bum lol

Hope this helps xx

Hey OP, didn't want to read and run.

To me, that looks like the type of bleeding from a bowel movement, pretty sure I have had the same before when straining too much.

Did you give yourself a wipe at the front to see if it was coming from there?

Of course, always be on the safe side and get yourself checked for reassurance but I think that looks like a bowel movement bleed.

Thanks for replying. Not a bum cut lol definitely from my vagina ! I'm going to call the hospital and just explain what I have here. I'm sure they'll say just monitor and I know logically it probably is from the erosion but I can't help but worry what if! I've had spotting about 4 - 5 times now so far this pregnancy and it's usually just the once when I wipe. It's stopped now as well ! Such a worry though each time

Just an update if anyone googles something similiar, I spoke to the hospital who said I need to go in and be checked. Didn't expect it to be honest as with a diagnosis of cervical erosion I thought they'd tell me to just keen an eye. Hopefully it's nothing but baby is also still quiter than she has been and that's at the back of my mind too

I'm sure they're just being over cautious, which is what you want! Good luck op xx

Hi I didn't update this. I went to the hospital and they checked my cervix but couldn't find any sign of the erosion previously diagnosed.
Does anyone know if they can heal themselves and go away ?
They found alot of discharge which was 'cloudy' and have sent it off to be checked.
I have no signs of infection though...
and I've just had some peachy discharge now after 4 days of nothing.

Honestly sick of it now and just wish I knew what was causing it, I thought the erosion was the explanation but now they're saying they can't see it I don't know what to think Confused

When do you know when to not bother the hospital again due to this ? It's stopped again that's all there was and I can feel the baby moving around. But every time it happens my heart sinks.

I would go to the hospital. They’d rather see you everyday than miss something. I had unexplained bleeding a couple of times and DS was fine, but I did go to triage loads and felt better for doing it

I think my partner is getting annoyed with it though as he's the one who has to take me due to me not driving. He's working atm so definitely not asking him.
I do have an appointment Monday though for something else so could mention it then.
There isn't much they do either other than look at my cervix which really bloody hurts every time !
This has happened about 5 times now
