Urgent antibiotic advice needed

DD needs surgery tomorrow has been told to take antibiotics tonight but cant swallow them. Clinic said the capsules cant be tipped out, any one know if this is absolute Nono as I’m desperate. Thank you

Can you put them in something like a spoon of yoghurt or ice cream

My mum used to put tablets in a big spoon of golden syrup when I was a child and struggled to swallow them

What is the reason that she cant take them?

Depends what they were. Some antibiotics can indeed be taken out of the capsule.
