VERY faint line on pregnancy test - positive?

I’m 10 days post FET and just did my pregnancy test. There is a line but it is so faint you have to really look for it. Is it positive or negative? 1st round of IVF and haven’t done a pregnancy test in 1.5 years! Thanks!! Xx

Thanks everyone! Very nerve wracking time! @Margo34 my consultant told me to test today but will defo test again in a few days -but this gives me some hope! Thank you 😊

Assuming you are 10dp5dt, this would make you 15dpo. The line is a little light for 15dpo but that is a cheapie test so not surprising. Test again in 2 days and compare. Good luck!

Thanks all! @WutheringMights Yes embryo was frozen at day 5. It was transferred on 27th May so 10 days ago… does that make it 15 dpo? I find all the figuring out timing of everything a bit confusing tbh!! It’s defo faint, trying not to get hopes too high.

Yes @Zad22 - you are the equivalent of 15dpo today. I have used those tests previously and the second lines are usually pretty faint at this stage. It's important to use the same brand of test in 2 days so you can compare.

Hi all, thank you for your help yesterday! I just wanted to give you a quick update - ordered FRER on Amazon but they wouldn’t arrive until later today so went to a late night pharmacy last night and just got whatever they had. Do we trust clear blue as a brand??? Here are my results!

Not relevant but did your clinic give you that first test by any chance? My clinic give out shit tests that still give a faint line at 14 days post 5 day transfer, which is the equivalent of five days after a missed period!

@TinyBearCub 14 days post 5dt is so late for a faint line how scary! No my clinic didn’t give me any tests actually, but they also didn’t specify what sort of test I should take - they said I could take a test at home on day 10 but would also need to come to them for a blood test regardless of the result of the HPT. I got the test in Poland as I was on holiday there over the long weekend for a wedding and forgot to take a test with me 😫so had to grab one there… the pharmacy we went to only had one brand, don’t even know what it was to be honest! Though it was supposed to be an early detection one… rubbish! I was also super hydrated though having been drinking LOADS of water all day at the wedding the day before so could have also been that, who knows!

So the learning takeaway is: use a good brand of test… and also stay hydrated - but don’t drink gallons of water to keep up with the wine guzzlers at a wedding!

Hi really hoping for replies as I’m freaking out
currently about 4 days late but had taken 2 microgynon pills (don’t take them regularly it’s due to me and my partner being on holiday and didn’t want a period) I kept feeling period like pains the bloating super bloating!!, back aches lower abdominal pain and just urghhh my reason for taking the 2 microgynon as I thought period was coming but my main symptom is huge warm swollen tingling boobs and the most sensitive nipples known to man!! No sickness or anything feel quite hungry at times (not usually me) so my partner suggested we get a test while we are on holiday anyway 🤦🏾‍♀️ after what feels like a MILLION tests later they are all positive!!!! However this is where it gets tricky I had taken 2 of my anti sickness pills due to a buggy ride (was awful bumpy and hadn’t done a test at the time) my anti sickness tablets are called Prochlorperazine 5mg and I took 2 that day which was Thursday that same day is when I done my test and was positive faint lines but positive so like anyone I ran out bought 10 more and out of all I only had 2 negatives I read online my medication can cause false positives now I’m soooooo in limbo as to wether it can be the medication I took (now Sunday) (stopped all medications since first positive )4 days ago could still be making false positives 😔 what are the chances does anyone know please please help all positives came up rather quickly and like mentioned the 2 I had negative were the covid like type with pipette

also I cannot get clear blue or digital out here!!! They are both different brands as you can see and test seems to be darker in the evening than first thing on a morning

That looks positive as long as it came up within the test's timeframe. Best to check again in a couple of days. Hope it works out for you
