What do I do if I need to call triage on holiday?

I'm currently away on a weeks holiday with family. We're staying in the UK but over 200 miles away from home. Last night I had some cramping which I've now put down to braxton hicks and all seems fine this morning, baby is kicking away and the cramps have gone, but it made me think what do I do if I need to call triage? Do I call my regular triage number and tell them where I'm staying so they can transfer me through to a local hospital? Or do I ring the triage number for the nearest hospital to where I'm staying?
I've googled the triage number for the local hospital and saved it to my phone just in case and I've also got my maternity notes with me. Just wondered what the usual process is or what others have done in the past when they've needed midwife support?

Just call the hospital nearest and ask to be put through to their maternity triage. :)

I called the local triage although one hospital did suggest I travelled the 2 hours home which I declined to do and asked to see them instead.
its good to take your notes away with you in case you have to go to a unfamiliar hospital
