Bleeding red spots on vulva

Hi, I'm 27 weeks pregnant and the past few days I've noticed a few blood blister type things appear on the edges of my labia. They bleed if I catch them and I can feel them rubbing on my knickers sometimes.

Google only really brings up vulval varicose veins but I'm not convinced that's what they are as they don't look like any of the pics I have seen!

Has anyone else had these?! They bleed lightly but quite persistently and they're getting annoying. But maybe it's just due to pressure and increased blood flow down there?

I would speak to your Midwife or GP and get them checked. Sounds painful.

I've been frantically googling and think they may be angiokeratomas?! Which is nothing to worry about, they just look horrible and can bleed. I have another appointment in a couple of weeks so I'll just ask then I think.

Stop googling. Get an appointment at your local GUM clinic. It's the quickest way to get to the bottom of stuff as it's their area.

I agree with gamer hick, I'd perhaps go to your local Gum clinic and get them checked just to rule anything out. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but why live with the pain and discomfort for another week or so when you can get it sorted.

Sounds like angiokeratomas to me. I proved it while pregnant too. Still have them and they’re a bit unsightly but otherwise nothing to worry about

My local gum clinic is only open 2 days a week for 3 hours and appointment only...I wouldn't be hopeful of getting an appointment before my next scheduled antenatal appointment anyway so I'll just wait. I don't think it's anything to worry about now. Just more annoying than anything! 🥴
