I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant with my first baby and after all of the initial excitement about being pregnant, having scans and then finding out on Friday that we're having a boy, I've decided it's time to start doing some practical stuff. The problem is I have no idea where to start! I thought it would be nice to pick up some cute baby clothes this weekend but I just felt totally confused about what I will actually need - baby is due in November but we live in Spain so it's not unusual for the temperature to be 20 degrees through the day, cooler at night but not freezing.
I have tried googling but I just get loads of lists of sponsored items that don't seem so that essential.
What do I actually need to buy?? Clothing, furniture, accessories... I feel so lost and clueless about everything!

Thank you, I don't know why I didn't think of adding Mumsnet to my search!
