Anybody ever been pg w/o feeling pg?

I am hoping that someone else will have been through this...

No 'monthly visitor' for the past 2 months. Did test at about 6 weeks result negative. Did another test at about 8 weeks result faint positive.

I don't have any clear symptoms no sore boobs, no nausea, etc but I can't shake this feeling that I am.

DH is sceptical. Haven't told anyone else.

I would be about 10 weeks now (I think.)Could it be possible that I could be pg w/o feeling pg?

Anybody else been through this? Should mention that I already have dd, so do have an idea what pg 'feels' like.

not had this personally, but certainly not impossible, given the cases you read about of women who didn't realise they were PG until the birth. would definitely go to your GP asap- if there is any doubt you are PG, they can refer you for blood tests/scan. also you are probably due your first routine dating sccan in the near future in any case.

Hi there. I'm currently 13wks.
Had BFP at 4 weeks, so slightly different from your situation, but have had basically no nausea, boobs only sore on and off and then only really to the touch, have been pretty tired but if I hadn't known I was pg I could just possibly have construed the tiredness as work stress. Could you possibly get a blood test done? This would clear out any doubts.

With my first pg I felt really pg from about 5 weeks. However, with this pg I really didn't have strong symptoms. I got a positive with a test at about 4 weeks but if I hadn't had that then I don't think I would have realised I was pg (although lack of AF might have alerted me!). I was so worried by the lack of symptoms I arranged an early scan, and there was a little bean, wriggling around like mad! (and he's due on Thursday). So, my advice would be, take another test and if still not positive, see your doctor anyway because you need to arrange to see m/w and have scans soon if you are pg so you really need to know one way or another. Would recommend Boots own brand tests BTW.

HTH.

Hi there

I'm almost 6 months into my 3rd pg and I have to say I didn't feel I was at all for the first 3 months. I had missed 2 periods by the time I got round to doing a test. I have twin boys of 2½ and a 4 year old girl so I put it down to stress at first!!!

I'd agree with the others and go see your GP and do a blood test just to clarify everything once and for all. Best of luck Staar x x

Oh Yes.

I had no symptoms with any of my 3 pregnancies for 7 weeks or so & with dd I had none at all.No sickness-nothing.

My mum was 4 months gone with my sister before she realised she was pregnant too,as she still had periods & felt no different.

Also my cousins friend was actually in labour when she found out!She honestly had no idea at all & refused to believe it until she was handed her baby.

I've spoken to my Dr loads of times about my lack of symptoms & I've always been assured that it isn't a problem-it is just that some peoples bodies handle the hormones better than others.

Have you asked your Dr for a blood test? This would tell you for definate.
Goodluck
