Hey everyone! I'm TTC and am currently on 12dpo (wanting to test SO badly as I have so many symptoms that I've not had before - might cave today). Af is due Sunday...

I've got pretty severe asthma and all of my medications state that I shouldn't be taking them if pregnant... I've had 2 chemical pregnancies in the last 6 months so am definitely going to be speaking to my doctor about changing meds or whatever, but my asthma is SO bad right now.

I cant even walk up the stairs without needing my inhaler right after.

Does anyone else suffer from it and have any tips?!

Much love x

What meds are you on? My understanding was that all inhalers are fine. Oral steroids might be another story but I presume the advice will be to continue as the risk to you would be too big.

Have you tried asthma UK? I've contacted them a few times over the years and they've been excellent, they might be able to tell you the norms.

I would suggest seeing the asthma nurse to discuss.

Your asthma sounds uncontrolled at the moment. You need a new inhaler.

Best of luck with TTC

Thank you so much. I'll definitely try asthma UK.

I'm currently taking montelukast tablets, singulair steroid inhaler, fexofenadine 180mg, nasonex and lansoprazole. (I also have allergic rhinitus)
