TWINS- is this my mucus plug?

Hi, I’m currently 26w+4 with twin boys. I’ve had this discharge coming out over the last few days and I’ve just had this chunk come out. I do have a daughter already but don’t remember ever getting this type of discharge? I’ve also had tightenings, intense lightning crotch & loose stools over the past week (I did go to triage a few days ago but they wasn’t concerned about anything)

OP, I have no idea if that’s your mucus plug. But if you are concerned please go to a hospital to be checked over. I sincerely hope it’s not the beginnings of labour, but if it is, you need to be in the right place. Listen to your body.

It’s part of it but it will just regenerate itself. I loose bits here and there and I’m 22 weeks it’s happened since my second pregnancy. Doesn’t usually happen in first pregnancies until labour as they cervix is tightly closed but after the birth it will never fully close again so in the next pregnancy bits of mucus can come away for many months before labour
