So this may be TMI and I am so sorry for that but my midwife is difficult to get a hold of and I really don't want to call the maternity assessment. Does this look like a mucus plug?

Not really in my experience it may be the start of a little bit.
If movements are normal and no pain I wouldn't worry

It does to me. But you might still have a few days to go if no other signs of labour. Keep us updated OP!

Sleep on a towel tonight just in case!

It doesn't look like how mine did. Mine was a big ball of green shot the size of half my palm!

It looks like the plug may be coming away but it doesn't always come in one go! If you feel any waters coming away then you need to let the unit know ASAP so they can monitor when you need to go into hospital!
Good luck OP ♥️

Yes it is but no need to get concerned I loose bits of mine all the time I’m 22 weeks

Runkle · 01/06/2022 23:38

Mine was more of a chunk at about 34 weeks but labour didn't follow and midwife wasn't bothered when I told her.

Happierthanever91 · 02/06/2022 01:08

Thanks for the replies everyone! I'm going to keep an eye on it and see if it happens again or anything thing else happens. Im coming up to 34 weeks now and the baby is already measuring really big so hoping nothing is starting too soon
