Hi there

Was wondering if anyone could recommend a good pregnancy exercise/fitness DVD? Quite unfit at the moment and want something I could do at home in prep for the big event! Seems to be quite a lot out there but can't find any good reviews, therefore a bit lost. Has anyone tried Davina"s Cheers

Sorry lydimon I don't know, but just bumping this up so someone who knows can answer as I want to know too. Pregnancy yoga without too much hippy bo*cks would be quite good too, if anyone can recommend...

Davina's is brilliant and has a real range of exercises, including a really nice pilates-inspired bit. It's also got a post-pregnancy section too which I'm planning to do after the birth - that's assuming I'll find a spare 20 minutes !!!!!!

cheers, the DVD looked good but just wanted to ask around. Couldn't help but notice your username - a fan of The Wire I take it? Just getting into season one, totally brilliant!

I did the Davina one for the first time last week. If you're relatively fit you'll find the aerobics section too easy but the conditioning part did make my heart race (a bit).

I'm 29 weeks pregnant, by the way.

i dont think many people do

hi I recently got 2 which i enjoy.

Patreas prenatal fitness for the entire body

Prenatal fitness fix with erin o brien

The first is divided into 15 min chunks and really great. the 2nd is one long workout which is good, tiring but i often cant face a 40 min workout (seems too daunting iyswim) so I opt for the other.

I got them on amazon america so i dont now if you can get them in the uk or not? their reveiws were good thats why I got them...

hth

Ha ha Lydimon, I am indeed utterly hooked on The Wire and have made it to Season 3 so far. My husband and I are so obsessed with it we refer to the bump as Barksdale too! Am quite jealous you're on Season 1, you've got so much excitement to look forward to on your long evenings "not going out"!!!

lydimon · 14/01/2008 21:21

The Barksdale bump brilliant! - have just ordered season 2 roll on the long evenings!
