When in early labour with my 1st I was uncomfortable and had most of the pain in my back, but I managed the pain pretty well till I had my waters broken at 6cm in the hospital (that's when I was in a lot of pain )

I had what I thought were contractions 2 nights ago, but the eased of , since when I have had a it of a show and more pains / light contractions this morning, but I can't say I'm in a lot of pain at all, but they are coming and going. ( with my 1st I had contractions over 2 nights which disappeared during the day before proper labour)

They seem to be all in my belly last time, whereas bedofr it was all in my back, so I'm confused as to weather this is normal early labour approaching, or just pregnancy .

Are the early contractions possibly less painful 2nd time around?

With my 1st I was pretty much able to carry on with all my normal daily routine until 6cm
