Cloudy wee 21 weeks

Is it the pregnacare ? It's also bright yellow !
I was away last week and was diagnosed with a urine infection, had stomach cramps and an urge to wee a lot, no pain whilst weeing or anything. Was given a one dose antibiotic and the pains stopped so i thought it's probably gone. But my wee is really Cloudy and I know that's a sign of a uti.

Also I got sent a random appointment for the hospital, when I asked what for they said a urine test and bloods, apparently one of my last urine samples (before the holiday) that was sent to the lab came back high for something so the doctor has ordered urine test and bloods. Why would they check bloods for a uti, does anyone know ??

I don't have any other signs of a uti I don't think. I am weeing alot but that isn't unusual for me even pre pregnancy as I've got a collapsed bladder so I think pregnancy is making it worse probably

I've quite often needed 2 rounds of 2 type of antibiotics for a UTI. Cloudy wee sounds like the infection is still there.

If it's urine and blood tests it may have been your protein level that was slightly high as that's how I had to have mine rechecked when it came up high in urine sample but it just turned out at that time that I was dehydrated although I did then go on to have pre-eclampsia but not until around 34/35 weeks x

Oh okay. Thank you. They didn't say what was high she just said something was high ! I think maybe it was the start of this urine infection starting as a couple of weeks later I went away and was told I had one.

Just thought it was random having a blood test and urine test together didn't understand why the need for the blood test

Yes it seems when pregnant everything is checked in urine the amount of blood tests I had to have because some level or another was up or slightly off was daft- I did have a couple of UTI's as well during pregnancy so it may be that that's triggered it x

So the pains I had last week while away are back. So yeah definitely the urine infection. I wonder why the antibiotic never shifted it ! Makes me worry as I know they can be serious in pregnancy. Just waiting for a call back off the doctors
